Q: Where are you located in Toronto and do you see local clients?
A: I am based in East York, Toronto and I offer both in-person sessions and online appointments for out-of-area clients, or clients who prefer to see me from the comfort of their chosen place.
Q: What conditions do you treat in-person and online?
A: I work with anxiety, grief, burnout, loneliness/isolation, boundary-setting, sleep issues, habit change, spiritual uncertainty/curiosity and chronic-pain support both in-person in Toronto and online.
Q: Are services covered by extended health benefits?
A: I provide clients with receipts that may be submitted to extended health plans; please check with your provider for clinical hypnosis, Reiki, or breathwork coverage.
Q: What qualifications do yout have and how do I trust them?
A: I am trained and certified in Clinical Hypnosis (University of Toronto), Reiki "Shinpidin" (Level 3 - "Shinpiden" - Japan Reiki Association), and an Advanced Breathwork Practitioner (Breathwork Africa) with evidence-informed and trauma-informed (a fancy way to say I'm a Black woman in Canada, fully aware of the harmful emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual effects of capitalism, racism, heterosexism, classism, ableism, agism, and all other methods of oppression, have on humans and humanity) training. Also, please check in with how YOU feel when you're interacting with anyone, credentials are part of the story, how you feel is important information too.
