This session combines the gentle power of Reiki with the sacred medicine of platonic touch. In Caribbean culture, touch is a way of life. A hug, a hand on the shoulder, a quick dab and embrace, an extended firm handshake. It's how we transfer energy, offer blessings, and affirm one another’s presence. How we say, I see you. I honour you. You are part of the village. From the practice of anointing, embracing, and laying hands on one another across the Caribbean and African diaspora, touch has always been sacred. Held and Healed is a return to this wisdom. You’ll be held in a safe, grounded embrace while Reiki energy flows through your system, calming your body, softening your spirit, and helping you feel connected to yourself, your breath, and perhaps something bigger. This is a moment to be held with tenderness, presence, and care. To rest in a platonic embrace. Feel the softness of another human being offering you their heartbeat, their steadiness, their warmth. You don’t have to say the right thing. You don't have to say anything at all. You are welcome to simply exist, reminded that you are worthy of closeness, comfort, and care.
